RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Ginter Park United Methodist Church has begun hosting its annual Great Pumpkin Patch, which will run until Halloween. The annual Great Pumpkin Patch, presented by Ginter Park United Methodist Church, is located at the intersection of Laburnum Avenue and Seminary Avenue. Starting Oct. 2 and ending Oct. 31, it is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. According to the church, this year's pumpkin patch will feature story time with the Richmond Fire Department, campfire & chili, movie night, harvest market, a cultural diversity day and other fun family-friendly free events. Events at the Great Pumpkin Patch: Story Time with Richmond Fire Department Every Friday in October from 4 to 5 p.m. Harvest Market Day Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fun and Games Day Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campfire & Chili & Movie Night Saturday, Oct. 26 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. For 14 years, Ginter Park United Methodist Church has been bringing the Great Pumpkin Patch to the Richmond area.
