(KELO/AP) — From the beginning of 2023 through the end of June 2024 in campaign financing per the Federal Election Commission, 2024 presidential candidates disbursed $586 million, 2024 Congressional candidates disbursed $1.8 billion, party committees disbursed $1 billion and political action committees disbursed $6 billion. For Tom Daschle, who represented South Dakota in both the U.S. House and Senate, money in politics is concerning.
