WEDNESDAY, 10/2/24, 5:50 p.m. OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - The Oshkosh Police Department has announced that the area of 9th Avenue between Cumberland Trail and Washburn Street is now open. The area was closed off for nearly six hours due to a crash that left one motorcyclist in the hospital to be treated for injuries. The crash remains under investigation at this time. (WFRV) - The Oshkosh Police Department is asking people to avoid the area of 9th Avenue between Cumberland Trail and Washburn Street due to an investigation of a crash that occurred around noon. According to the release, officers were dispatched to 9th Avenue around 12:06 p.m. due to an accident report. The accident reportedly involved a motorcycle traveling west on 9th Avenue and a vehicle heading south on Graceland Drive.
