    COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police Chief W. H. ‘Skip’ Holbrook has announced that two people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Keenan High School student during the Summer. Four months ago on June 2, 16-year-old Julian ‘JuJu’ Keel was shot and killed in a restaurant parking lot just two days before his 17th birthday. Investigators say in Sumter County on Wednesday morning, Oct. 2, members of the United States Marshal Service’s (USMS) Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force including an embedded CPD officer and the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) arrested 20-year-old Tonie Wilson. Wilson is being charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and breach of peace of a high, and aggravated nature. He is housed at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. Columbia Police Department also says, a second person, who is a 16-year-old juvenile was arrested in connection with Keel’s shooting on Wednesday afternoon. The 16-year-old is facing murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature, along with possession of a firearm under the age of 18 charges.
