MEDORA, ND (KXNET) — "Ring of Fire" is a live show featuring Johnny Cash music that is playing through the month of October at the Old Town Hall Theater in Medora. "Ring of Fire is just an incredible show. People, when they ask about the show, sometimes expect to see a Johnny Cash impersonator, but the way I describe the show is it's Johnny Cash's story loosely told through his music," explained Kinley Slauter, Medora's Director of Entertainment. "So you're going to hear songs performed in a different way than Johnny performed them by an incredibly talented cast of actor musicians, including Chad." Chad Harris is one of the performers in the show. He's originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and already had experience with the show through his time at Wright State University in Dayton. Hot air balloons take to the skies above Medora "What is my favorite song? You know, I'd have to say the title song, Ring of Fire, is just one that the ensemble really seems to connect through. I think it's one of the biggest jam sessions we have on stage as a cast. We really get to sit back and relax and have a good time," Chad said. "And the audience is most aware of this song and they like to sing along with us. So I think it's just when we really get to connect with the audience during that song on stage."
