BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Walmart has introduced Caroline’s Carts in all Louisiana stores, providing specialized shopping carts designed to assist caregivers of children and adults with disabilities. This multimillion-dollar investment is part of Walmart's broader commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, according to a news release. According to Walmart, each Supercenter will have two carts and Neighborhood Markets will have at least one, with full nationwide distribution expected by early 2025. Walmart also has sensory-friendly hours from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. daily. Originally launched during the back-to-school season, the company said these hours have been extended year-round in response to positive customer feedback.
