ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — For this GRE WHY ROC segment, we are looking at what's behind the growth of Crover and the company's grain swimming robot aimed at revolutionizing work for farmers. The system is designed to address a critical challenge in the farming community by managing grain storage more efficiently and safely. Company leaders say they came up with the world's first robot that can "swim" through any bulk solids and powders, providing real-time data on grain quality and storage conditions. Through the Grow NY competition, Crover was able to move to a new lab and small manufacturing space at the Cornell AgriTech campus in Geneva.
