Kyle Allen was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after he scored a pair of goals and added an assist in a 1-0-1 week for the Ramapo men’s soccer team. The former Notre Dame High standout netted two goals and had one assist in the Roadrunners’ 4-1 road win at Penn College. Allen assisted on the first goal and then scored Ramapo’s second and fourth goals of the game. He leads Ramapo with six goals and two assists and ranks fourth in the conference in goals. Gibson Scores Two for No. 7 Kutztown Mekhi Gibson (Ewing) was on the receiving end of a pair of touchdowns as No. 7 Kutztown defeated Gannon, 37-14. Gibson caught three passes for 58 yards, including a pair of five yard scores. He leads the Bears in receiving yards with 148 and the two scores were his first of the season. Patriot League Honors Conti, Again Bella Conti (Allentown) was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the third time this season after her goal was the difference in West Point’s 1-0 win over Bucknell. It was the first game-winning goal of Conti’s collegiate career. The goal was Conti’s fourth of the season and she has one assist. West Point is 8-3 on the season and 2-1 in the Patriot League. Benattar Receives Honorable Mention Jess Benattar (Notre Dame) recorded her third straight solo shutout with four saves in a 3-0 win by Bucknell over Colgate earning her Honorable Mention in the Patriot League Player of the Week nominee’s. The junior leads the Patriot League in goals-against average (.500) and save percentage (.842). Byrne Gets Stockton Honor Elenora Byrne (West Windsor-Plainsboro South) led Stockton women’s golf by finishing 20th out of 38 players in the Arcadia Golden Oaks Shootout with a total of 176. Byrne shot an 87, one off her career best, on the first day that was highlighted by seven pars including three straight on the back nine. She followed by an 89 in round two that included six pars, again with three straight on the back nine. Garwo III Has Big Day for Nevada Pat Garwo III (Conwell-Egan) ran wild for Nevada in a 49-16 win over Eastern Washington with three touchdowns. He scored from the 9, 7 and 1 yard line and finished the game with 63 yards rushing. Garwo III has 173 yards rushing on the season and a team-high five touchdowns. Vradenburgh Earns Commonwealth Honor Jordan Vradenburgh (Pennsbury) helped keep Stevenson’s undefeated streak alive with her performances in the cage against St. Mary’s (Md.) and Bridgewater (Va.) earning her the MAC Commonwealth Conference Defensive Player of the Week. She totals 14 saves on the season and boasts all six wins and five shutouts for the Mustangs. Ezeigbo Excels at Oklahoma State Obi Ezeigbo (Ewing) recorded 10 tackles for Oklahoma State in a Big 12 loss to Utah. The former Blue Devil, who previously played at Gannon, has 22 tackles on the season, including six for a loss. Zamichieli Earns MAC Honor Dante Zamichieli (Steinert) appeared in his first race of the season and turned in a solid finish at the Penn State Abington Invite earning him the MAC Runner of the Week honor. Zamichieli’s time of 30:19.30 was nine minutes better than the next closest Albright time. Zamichieli’s time was good for a 17th place finish out of 119 runners. *** Field Hockey: Delaney Keegan (Princeton) recorded her first collegiate point with an assist for Cornell in a game with No. 9 Louisville. …Caroline Haggerty (Princeton Day) has scored three goals in No. 1 Middlebury’s last two games. …Grace Leard (Allentown) and Maddie Schwartz (Robbinsville) split time in the goal for Muhlenberg in shutout win over Vassar. …Gianna DiGioacchino (Princeton) has started on defense for Skidmore. …Grace Rebak (Princeton) has started every game on defense for No. 3 Williams. Football: Deon McLean (Lawrence) had an interception for Central Connecticut against UMass and he returned it 35 yards and he finished the day with eight tackles. …Jack Dunkley (Neshaminy) had two tackles in Duquesne’s win over West Virginia Wesleyan. …Kahzir “Buggs” Brown (Trenton) had six tackles and Chisom Ifeanyi (Neshaminy) had five tackles for Florida Atlantic in a game with UConn. …Wagner’s Rickey Spruill (Notre Dame) had 72 yards rushing  in a game with Robert Morris. …John Hutchinson (Neshaminy) had a team high 11 tackles for California (PA) in a win over Lock Haven. …Jackson Barletta (Hun) had a team high nine tackles and Jack Betten (Lawrenceville) had one catch for 11 yards in Fordham’s game with Dartmouth. …Dwayne Majors (Conwell-Egan) had four tackles in St. Francis’ game with Eastern Michigan. …DJ Woodbury (Burlington City) had 10 tackles in Temple’s win over Utah State. …Mason Shipp (Hun) had five catches for 74 yards in Yale’s win over Holy Cross. …Terrance Peterson (Hopewell Valley) had seven tackles for Shippensburg in a game with Slippery Rock. …Luke Trunell (Conwell-Egan) had four tackles for West Chester in a game with Seton Hill. …Joseph Pressley (Pemberton) was the NJAC Defensive Rookie of the Week as William Paterson freshman had four tackles, including a sack in a win over McDaniel.
