Here is a look at the top games involving Inland high school football teams on Thursday, Oct. 3. Sites and times of games are subject to change. THURSDAY’S TOP GAMES Big West Conference-North Division Norco (2-3) at Murrieta Valley (4-1), 7:30 p.m. IE Varsity info: Norco is coming off a bye and looks to extend its win streak to three games. Sophomore Trevor Schneider and senior Chris Laing have combined to rush for 906 yards and nine touchdowns for the Cougars. Senior linebacker Maddox Barrios leads the defense with 42 tackles, while senior defensive linemen Kameron Brown Marshawn Dunning have combined to register 9 1/2 sacks.  Murrieta Valley is coming off a 35-25 victory over San Clemente last week. Dorian Hoze has rushed for 645 yards and 10 touchdowns. Kurelle Thomas returned a kickoff for a touchdown last week and Cam Connor scored on a punt return for the Nighthawks. Junior linebacker Abelardo Leos leads the defense with 39 tackles. Prediction: Murrieta Valley Big West Conference-South Division Murrieta Mesa (1-4) at Temecula Valley (2-3), 7:30 p.m. IE Varsity info: Murrieta Mesa played a tough nonleague schedule, which should help them make a run at the title. Senior Artyon Celestine and sophomore Royal Randolph have combined to rush for 671 yards and six touchdowns. Senior linebacker Deshawn Reid leads the Rams with 33 tackles, and senior defensive lineman Isaiah Casillas has added 29 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks. Temecula Valley is coming off a bye week and looks to snap a two-game skid. Senior Crew Allen has caught 18 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns, and junior Carlos Carruego has 111 receiving yards and four touchdown catches. Junior linebacker Vincent Evans leads the Golden Bears with 48 tackles, and senior defensive lineman Noah Watkins has added 33 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks. Prediction: Murrieta Mesa Inland Valley League Heritage (2-3) at Canyon Springs (4-1), 7:30 p.m. IE Varsity info: Heritage comes off its bye week looking to end a two-game losing streak. Senior Achilles Reveles has thrown for 636 yards and six touchdowns and added 205 yards on the ground. Senior Armando Macias Jr. leads the Patriots’ ground attack with 298 yards. Junior linebacker Matt Mason has recorded a team-high 33 tackles. Canyon Springs lost its opener but has rattled off four straight wins. Sophomore Angel Robles has thrown for 1,089 yards and 17 touchdowns, and the receiving trio of senior Cameron Holzendorf, sophomore Aaron Triplett and junior Ted Virgil have combined to catch 51 passes for 989 yards and 14 scores. Junior nose tackle Howard Smith leads the Cougars’ defense with 29 tackles. The Braves have been strong on defense allowing only 12.6 points per game. Freshman linebacker Owen Fiorenza leads the team with 39 tackles, and senior defensive lineman Nelson Alvarado has recorded 5 1/2 sacks. Sophomore Iziah Brown leads Alta Loma’s ground attack with 526 yards. Baldwin Park started the season 0-3 but has won two straight games. Senior Jake Garcia has passed for 801 yards and 12 touchdowns. Senior Aldo Hernandez leads the defense with 46 tackles. Prediction: Alta Loma NONLEAGUE Hesperia Christian (2-3) at California School for the Deaf-Riverside (4-0), 3:30 p.m. IE Varsity info: CSD-Riverside extended its winning streak to 13 games last week with a 54-0 victory over CSD-Fremont in those schools’ annual rivalry game. Senior Kaden Adams has thrown for 521 yards and 10 touchdowns while adding three scores on the ground. Junior Gio Visco has rushed for 345 yards and six touchdowns and caught three touchdown passes. Senior Xavier Gamboa leads the Cubs’ defense with 31 tackles. Hesperia Christian looks to snap a three-game losing skid. Senior Nathaniel Renner has passed for 385 yards and five touchdowns and scored four times on the ground. Senior Roderick Taylor leads the Patriots’ defense with 35 tackles and 12 sacks.
