Fall River man accused of slashing tires on 62 vehicles arrested

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A man charged in connection to a mass tire slashing incident has been arrested, according to Fall River police.
Liduino Tavares, 40, of Fall River, was charged with 62 counts of malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
Tavares allegedly slashed the tires of 62 vehicles in the area of Mulberry Street and Division street on September 18 and was seen on surveillance video.
Tavares is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
