A man who lives in Selby and works for Agtegra Cooperative has been chosen by the South Dakota Trucking Association as its 2024 Driver of the Year. Loren Moak has over 22 years of professional driving experience with more than one-million safe driving miles under his belt. Moak, Driver of the Month for November 2023, has worked for Agtegra for the past four years, delivering propane across the region in all kinds of weather. State Trucking Association President Christine Vinatieri-Erickson (Vinatieri like the football player) said Moak’s long history of safe driving, combined with his positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile, made him a standout candidate for this award. Known for his courteous demeanor, she said Moak is always willing to lend a hand. Loren and his wife, Nyla have two adult children, Jenna (36) and Kendra (33).
