PTI was included in this year's edition of USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards and was voted as the tenth best small airport in the nation. The explanation for PTI's inclusion on the list reads as follows: American, Delta, and United fly into this airport that serves the Piedmont Triad: Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO)’s motto is “fly easy,” which seems to be an easy accomplishment for the airport, based on its short lines, sparse crowds, and eight on-site rental car options.
