COLUMBIA COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - The Columbia County Sheriff's Office announced that a man suspected of stealing a car was arrested on multiple charges, including his fourth OWI. The Columbia County Dispatch Center received a 911 call around 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday from a resident in Fort Winnebago who reported that a vehicle was stolen from their driveway, leading to a search by a detective from the County Sheriff's office. Wisconsin police arrest man in major methamphetamine bust, seizing two pounds of drugs A detective reportedly saw the suspected vehicle heading northbound on Highway 51 leaving Portage around 2:37 p.m. and followed the vehicle. The detective coordinated with the Marquette County Sheriff's Office to intercept the vehicle which entered the county on I-39. Deputies from Marquette County stopped the vehicle, taking the suspect, identified as 37-year-old Justin Susnik of Arkdale into custody. According to the release, Susnik was held at the Columbia County Jail on the following charges: Operating a vehicle without the owner's consent Operating while intoxicated (4th) Misdemeanor bail jumping Portage County and Adams County warrants Chicago man found with 3+ pounds of meth during Fond du Lac County traffic stop on I-41 The stolen vehicle has since been returned to its owners.
