Registration Enforcement took place from Sept. 22 through Sept. 28. Various law enforcement agencies participated in hopes of cracking down on expired vehicle registration and unregistered vehicle violations on roads and highways. Expired tags lead to drug arrest in Fountain The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported a whopping 351 registration violation citations during the enforcement period. While the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) wrote 33 registration violations during the seven-day period. Law enforcement decided to perform the enforcement after citizens voiced their concerns over vehicles with expired registrations or no registration at all. Although the enforcement period has ended, the agencies plan to continue intentional enforcement of these violations in the future.
