HILLIARD, Ohio (WCMH) - A food truck known for its variety of authentic Mexican food has opened its first brick and mortar restaurant in central Ohio. Herencia Jalisco is welcoming customers at its location at 6542 Hayden Run Road in Hilliard. It started with a food truck that operated on West Broad Street. Family-owned restaurant expands with new pizzeria The Mexican eatery has several options from appetizers like chips and dip, nachos and guacamole to entrees like fajitas, quesadillas and street tacos. There's also kids meals, along with vegetarian options. The restaurant is waiting for its liquor license but is serving specialty mocktails including margaritas and daiquiris. Herencia Jalisco Mexican Restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
