COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Ohio ranks among the top three states with the best drivers in America, according to a recent Forbes Advisor study. To find the states with the best and worst drivers, the media company compared all 50 states across 19 metrics, including the percentage of drivers who reported speeding in the past month, changing lanes without using a signal and tailgating. The data, collected from late June to early July, comes from a survey of 100 Americans in each state who have a driver’s license and are at least 18 years old.  Speaking out against domestic violence in Franklin County Ohio ranked as the state with the second-best drivers, with a relatively low percentage reporting texting while driving in the past month (5%), changing lanes without signaling (7%) and speeding 10-19 mph over the limit (10%). The Aloha State had the highest number of drivers who reported changing lanes without signaling (20%), speeding 20 miles per hour or more over the speed limit (13%) and running a red light (8%).
