92-Year-Old Female Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision in Parking Lot PRESCOTT, AZ (October 2, 2024) – One woman died Tuesday afternoon, in a pedestrian crash in a Costco Parking Lot. Police officers responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m., on August 27th. Investigators reported that a 68-year-old driver was traveling north when they attempted to turn left into a parking lot, striking a 92-year-old female pedestrian and dragging her several feet. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet disclosed her identity or residence. Emergency crews temporarily closed off the area for cleanup and initial investigation.
