Two Unidentified Motorcyclists Fatally Injured in Deadly Collision near Culver Drive
IRVINE, CA (October 2, 2024) – Two motorcyclists died early Sunday morning, in a motorcycle collision on 5 Freeway near Culver Drive.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m., on August 25th.
First responders arrived at the northbound lanes where a group of 50 motorcyclists was traveling.
According to reports, one rider lost control and crashed in the middle lane. As a result of the crash, two motorcyclists were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet disclosed their identities.
Troopers shut down the northbound lanes for several hours, reopening them around 4:00 a.m. Details surrounding the cause of the accident remain unknown as the investigation continues.
