ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Rain showers along a cold front are moving through this morning as temperature start in the upper 50s and lower 60s. As the front passes overhead, wind flow will change to be out of the northwest. That keeps afternoon highs in the 60s. Dew points fall here as well, letting temperatures tumble into the 40s going into Thursday morning. The cold air mass behind the front will quickly retreat north and be replaced by high pressure that brings some more warmth with it. Temperatures bump back into the lower 70s by Thursday afternoon. Friday should be great as well, although the one wrinkle is a weak front that approaches Friday night. The trend has been to keep this boundary from bringing anything other than clouds, but a very isolated shower could be possible late into early Saturday morning. Most are dry. Saturday afternoon should be great with mostly sunny skies, but it will be cooler with numbers in the middle 60s for highs.  A fast moving cold front arrives into New York State Sunday night. This will bring in rain and cooler air for early next week.
