Incarcerated man who walked away from Mass. prison back in custody

FOXBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — An incarcerated man who walked away from the grounds of the minimum/pre-release facility at Pondville Correctional Center in Norfolk, Massachusetts is back in custody today.
According to the Massachusetts Department of Correction, officials conducting a routine check discovered Kevin O’Brien had not returned around 11 a.m.
Video footage viewed by staff and DOC investigators spotted O’Brien leave the track area of the facility and walk into the nearby woods around 10 a.m.
Investigators and department K-9s/and drones were dispatched to the area to locate him.
Officials said O’Brien was located in Foxboro.
O’Brien was given a charge of escape from a correctional facility against O’Brien in Wrentham District Court.
DOC investigators along with department K-9s and drones were been dispatched to the area.
