You'll need your sweatshirt or a light jacket this morning, as temperatures will only move into the middle 60s by lunchtime. It will be a cooler afternoon Even with more sunshine this afternoon temperatures won't budge much with a high in the upper 60s. It will be another cool night with low temperatures in the middle 40s. More sunshine and dry conditions move into the area to end the week as highs will be in the upper 70s Thursday. The warming trend continues Friday with more sunshine and a high in the upper 70s. We'll see plenty of sunshine this weekend and it will get even warmer, especially on Sunday with high temperatures topping out in the lower 80s. Another dose of October hits the area next week with highs in the 60s to begin the workweek warming into the 70s by the middle of the week.
