All lanes reopen after big rig fire on Hwy 24 in Orinda

(KRON) -- Eastbound lanes of Highway 24 were blocked due to a truck that caught fire Tuesday afternoon in Orinda, officials said. A big rig was seen engulfed in flames (see video above) on the highway west of Camino Pablo.
The second lane from the left has reopened after a temporary closure. As of 3:30 p.m., all lanes have since opened after a temporary closure.

A truck was engulfed in flames on Highway 24 Tuesday afternoon in Orinda.
According to California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fire was first reported at 1:21 p.m. No injuries have been reported at this time.
Police and fire department crews were at the scene responding. No other information was immediately available.
