Suspect arraigned in deadly Stockbridge hitandrun

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) - A West Stockbridge woman was arraigned in Southern Berkshire District Court Tuesday for her involvement in a deadly hit-and-run incident.
Enfield police seek information on hit-and-run incident at Yarde Tavern
According to the Berkshire DA's Office, Samantha C. Paige, 36, of West Stockbridge, was involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of 72-year-old Franklin Ripley, of Stockbridge.
The incident occurred on Saturday, September 28th, when Ripley was struck by a vehicle. Paige was arrested by Stockbridge Police on the morning of October 1st and charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
Judge McKenna set bail at $7,500. Paige is also being held without bail on a probation warrant related to a separate case in Central Berkshire District Court.
The hit-and-run case remains under investigation by the Stockbridge Police Department and State Police.
