According to an updated release, Reitzner has been found safe. Authorities in Oshkosh searching for missing 63-year-old Janice Reitzner TUESDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2024, 9:34 p.m. OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - The Oshkosh Police Department is asking for the community's help locating a 63-year-old woman missing from a group home. According to a release, on Oct. 1, 2024, at around 7:45 p.m., officers with the Oshkosh Police Department received information from a group home in the 1100 block of Minnesota St. that a client was missing. Significant fire at Northern Pines Apartments in Howard Janice Reitzner, 63, left around 5:45 p.m. to walk to the Dollar Tree at 1750 S. Koeller St. She was supposed to return to the group home around 7:00 p.m. The release says Reitzner has medical diagnoses that put her at a diminished mental capacity that could affect her welfare. Reitzner is described as a white female, five feet tall, 169 pounds, with brown hair about shoulder length. She was last seen wearing a gray long-sleeve top, blue jeans, black/gray shoes, and her hair in a ponytail.
