Person killed in Uptown shooting

A person was shot and killed Tuesday night in Uptown on the North Side.The male, whose age wasn’t known, was in the 900 block of West Eastwood Avenue about 7:40 p.m. when someone fired shots, striking him in the leg, Chicago police said.He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.No arrests were reported.
