NORFOLK, Va. (DC News Now) -- Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen.Tim Kaine faces his Republican challenger, Hung Cao, on the debate stage Wednesday, Oct. 2. Nexstar Media Group television stations across Virginia will carry it.

The live debate, which begins at 7 p.m. EDT at Norfolk State University, is the only televised debate in the Senate race.
