Pair arrested after police chase, crash in carjacked vehicle

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two men are now in custody after police say they were seen driving a carjacked vehicle which led to a chase in Parkway Village Tuesday morning.
Just before 9 a.m., officers say they were in the area of American Way and Cherry Road when they saw a black Honda Pilot that was reported carjacked.
At that time, officers attempted a traffic stop but the driver refused to pull over. A chase was then initiated.

Police say the carjacked vehicle crashed in the area of Lamar Avenue and South Parkway. Two male suspects were taken into custody.
Both men were taken to Regional One in non-critical condition for treatment due to the wreck.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
