LENROOT, Wis. (WFRV) - A 56-year-old northern Wisconsin man is dead after he was ejected from his motorcycle during a crash on Friday. According to a release, the Sawyer County Sheriff's Office was sent to the intersection of Phipps Rd. and Gouch Circle Rd. in the town of Lenroot for a report of a motorcycle crash. Death investigation begins after subject in Wisconsin crashes into tree while fleeing police A preliminary investigation revealed that Brad Burdette, 56, of East Troy, was operating a motorcycle on Phipps Rd. when he left the roadway and entered a ditch. The bike reportedly traveled several hundred feet before coming to rest. Appleton Police seek public’s help identifying suspect in armed robbery on S. Oneida St. Burdette was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered fatal injuries. Authorities pronounced him dead on the scene. The Sawyer County Sheriff's Office, the Wisconsin State Patrol, and the Sawyer County Medical Examiner's Office are still investigating the crash.
