Northwest Wisconsin street closes for several hours after fatal crash leaves one dead, another injured

(WFRV) - The Barron County Sheriff's Department announced that one person was pronounced dead at the site of a car crash that closed down an intersection for several hours on Sunday.
According to the release, the Barron County 911 Center was called about a two-vehicle crash on County Road W at 19th Street just west of Cameron.
Deputies from the Barron County Sheriff's Department along with multiple other agencies responded to the scene, which involved a vehicle driven by 74-year-old Kathy Harelstad of Chetek and a motorcycle driven by 63-year-old Jerry Rogers of Barron.

Harelstad was reportedly treated on-site and released. However, Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Barron County Sheriff's Department, which is being constructed by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
