BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A Rochester woman was arrested in a corn field in Darien last week after the Genesee County Sheriff's Office received reports of stolen clothing items from a T.J. Maxx, they said. 35-year-old Sugeiry Vazquez allegedly fled from the Erie County Sheriff's Office around 10:40 a.m. Tuesday with 32-year-old Breonna Burrows of Rochester and a male suspect also in the vehicle. The three were suspected by the sheriff's office of stealing from the T.J. Maxx on Transit Road in Clarence. The vehicle traveled east on Route 20 and allegedly failed to yield to emergency lights. After a police chase ensued, the vehicle crashed into the front lawn of a residence in the Town of Byron. The occupants fled from the vehicle, officials said. Vazquez and Burrows were later found in a corn field by a Genesee County K9. The male suspect has not been located. Burrows was charged with fifth-degree conspiracy, fourth-degree grand larceny and was issued an appearance ticket before being released. Vazquez was charged with the following: third-degree unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle first-degree reckless endangerment third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle operate motor vehicle unlicensed driver speed violation exceed 55 mph She was released under supervision.
