BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The Bismarck Area Faith and Blue event, which attempts to bring law enforcement members together with the community, is returning to Bismarck this month for the fifth year. Faith & Blue was launched to facilitate safer and stronger communities through partnerships with local law enforcement. A large piece of this initiative is the reinforcement of these connections through the reach of the Faith-Based Community. The event happens the second weekend of October every year. 2024's Faith & Blue will see the Crisis Care Chaplaincy and local law enforcement partner with Saint Mary's Catholic High School for a pregame tailgate. The party will be Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Dan Smrekar Field. There will be free food at the event, and law enforcement officers you can talk to. Minot Air Force Base holds day dedicated to suicide prevention On Sunday, Oct. 13, there will be three church events taking place. They will occur at Heritage Church, New Song Church and Capital Christian Center, all in Bismarck. Close Thanks for signing up! Watch for us in your inbox.
