BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will soon be visiting four Tribal Nations to provide residents with Non-Driver Photo Identification cards, which can be used to help them vote in the coming elections. “These photo ID cards are a great option for individuals wanting to vote in the upcoming elections,” said NDDOT driver's license division director Brad Schaffer. Photo ID cards are available for ND residents who do not have a driver's license, and are provided free to the public if they are above the age of 18. Below is a complete list of upcoming Photo ID Events, including their dates, times, and locations. What you need to know about the November 5 General Election in ND October 7: Standing Rock Sioux. Sioux County Courthouse, 303 2nd Avenue, Fort Yates — 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. October 8: Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa. Sky Dancer Casino, 3965 Sky Dancer Way NE, Belcourt — 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. October 10: Spirit Lake Nation. The Blue Building, 816 3rd Avenue North, Fort Totten — 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. October 15: Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation. Northern Lights Wellness Center, 710 East Avenue, New Town — 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Anyone seeking to obtain a Non-Driver Photo ID Card at one of these events must provide a certified birth certificate and proof of a court-issued name change if it applies, as well as a social security card and proof of an ND Resident Physical Address. The paperwork at these events will be processed overnight, and cards will be mailed to residents within five days.
