Armed teens assault man after leaving Visalia bank, steal cash

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was robbed by two teenagers armed with a knife and a bat after the victim had just withdrawn cash from a Visalia bank, according to the Visalia Police Department.
Police say around 11:15 p.m. Monday night, officers responded to reports of an armed robbery at Oak Avenue and Church Street.
Officers say the victim had just withdrawn cash from the Bank of America on Main Street when he was confronted by two teenagers armed with a knife and a bat.
The victim was struck with the bat, and the suspects stole his money and fled the scene. The victim did not have major injuries.
