VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The community of Visalia will welcome its newest fire station in a big celebration next week, the Visalia Fire Department announced Tuesday. Firefighters say they will introduce Visalia Fire Station 56, which is located on the east side of the city. The grand opening ceremony will be on Oct. 8 at 11:30 a.m. The fire department wants as many people as possible to celebrate the new station's grand opening and ribbon-cutting. The public will have opportunities to meet with the firefighters serving their city and learn about the vital services they provide. The new Fire Station 56 is located at 1315 S. Lovers Lane. The grand opening is Oct. 8 at 11:30 a.m.
