HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A 68-year-old man is dead following a crash early Monday morning on Interstate 95 South. Police said at 3 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, a 2020 black Cadillac XT6 SUV was heading south on I-95 and ran off the road on the right, hitting the ditch, going airborne and hitting trees on the driver's side. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest upright, according to officials. The driver was extricated by responders and was taken to a local hospital where he died due to his injuries. Police said the Cadillac was the only vehicle involved and there were no other people in the SUV. Police continue to investigate.
