CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One student has been injured and another has been taken into custody after a reported stabbing took place at Meadowbrook High School on Tuesday. According to the Chesterfield County Police Department, officers are currently on scene with a reported stabbing that took place at Meadowbrook High School on Tuesday, Oct. 1. One student was injured and has been transported to a local hospital. A suspect -- also a student -- is in custody. Police said there is no further threat to the community at this time as there are no suspects at large. Parents who wish to pick their children up should go to Meadowdale Library to pick up students. More information will be shared by police as it is available.
