ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A 12-year-old boy was arrested in St. Bernard Parish after he allegedly sent threatening text messages to another student on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office reported that a student at Andrew Jackson Middle School was booked in connection with the texts that reportedly threatened violence after school officials, the sheriff's office and other agencies completed an investigation.
New Orleans teacher accused of sex trafficking a 16-year-old is indicted
SBSO officials said additional deputies were on the school's campus as a precaution.
The student faces a charge of terrorizing.
