Road closed after St. Tammany Parish crash knocks down power lines

ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A traffic alert has been issued for part of St. Tammany parish following a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office, N. Factory Road near Louisiana Highway 437 (Lee Road) is closed due to the crash.

Details of the incident are unknown but the deputies say powerlines are down in the area making the road impassable.
All nearby residents are advised to exit via the Louisiana Highway 40 end.
At 5:14 a.m., deputies reported crews were in the area making repairs. An estimated reopening time has not been released.
