MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A 19-year-old man who was charged with bringing a gun to Hamilton High School five days ago is now in jail after police say he was involved in an armed robbery Monday morning. Javarious Sistrunk is charged with aggravated robbery and possession of marijuana after an alleged armed robbery of a woman on South Parkway. Another man, Ladale Wilson, 23, is also charged with aggravated robbery in that case. Sistrunk is the same man charged with bringing a stolen gun into Hamilton High School on Sept. 25. Court records show he was released without a bond in that case. Man allegedly brought stolen gun to Hamilton High School Javarious Sistrunk, Ladale Wilson (SCSO) According to Memphis Police, the victim was walking to a store along South Parkway and Worthington when three men approached her from behind. One of the men allegedly pointed a gun at her and stated, "Drop that s*** off." That is when the victim says she gave them her phone and purse. The victim yelled for someone to call the police and officers were then notified. When police arrived at the store, they found Sistrunk wearing the same clothing that the female victim described to officers. Sistrunk was detained along with Ladale Wilson and Keshun Reed. MPD says the victim's phone was found in a trash can next to an ATM and two handguns were hidden behind items in the store. Around 9:25 a.m., police say the victim was brought to the Dollar General, where she identified Sistrunk, Wilson and Reed as the people who robbed her at gunpoint. Man allegedly brought stolen gun to Hamilton High School When police searched Sistrunk, they said he had 13.8 grams of marijuana on him. Sistrunk was taken into custody where he denied his involvement in the robbery. He is being held in jail on a $80,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning. Ladale Wilson is held in jail on a $30,000 bond. He is also due back in court on Tuesday morning. There is currently no record of the third suspect, Keshun Reed, in the Shelby County Criminal Justice System.
