SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A second teen has been arrested in connection to the death of a 16-year-old, says Sumter County deputies. Deputies say 19-year-old Henry Jahlil Brown is accused of being involved in the September 3 death of 16-year-old Jayvion Jones. The investigation began on September 3, when deputies say six juveniles were shot at while in a car and a 16-year-old was wounded and Jayvion Jones was killed. On Friday, September 27, deputies arrested Brown in connection with Jones’ murder. He was taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center, and his bail was denied. Brown is being charged with murder, attempted murder (x5), discharging firearm into vehicle while occupied, and possession of weapon during a violent crime.
