MINOT, ND (KXNET) — One restaurant is excited to invite everyone to a party and street dance celebration for a 10-year anniversary. The Starving Rooster in Minot is celebrating 10 years on October 5, and the party is happening from 6 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. It'll be both inside the restaurant and outside on the street downtown at 30 1st Street Northeast. The restaurant first opened its doors on October 14, 2014, with a menu consisting of pizza, soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis, and appetizers. Since then, the menu has evolved with new sandwiches and bowls, but the brick oven-roasted pizzas are still the main draw, and the ingredients are a homage to local farmers and ranchers. "The history of Minot is very important to us. All of us have a strong history of farming through our families," said Owner Jeremy Mahany. Just like any business, The Starving Rooster has its ups and downs. In 2017, the owners opened a second location in Bismarck and then closed it down in 2020 to focus on the Minot location — a cornerstone that became a go-to destination for locals and tourists. "Our customers have continuously been the backbone of The Starving Rooster and we're so excited that we can celebrate this milestone with them — because without them, we wouldn't be where we are today." The anniversary party kicks off at 6 p.m. with live music from Ted & Kari, at 8:30 p.m. Myles Barcomb and the Sweet Dreams will take over until the end of the party. Kids are welcome to join the fun from 6-9 p.m. This free event is open to everyone. Pizza and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the night. Starting on October 14, The Starving Rooster will be offering $10 pizzas for 10 days, ending on October 23, but it's only available for dine-in guests. Close Thanks for signing up!
