First responders covering Concord Township are planning four information sessions in October to discuss the township’s upcoming fire and EMS levy. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the levy with representatives from the Concord Township Fire Department and Lake County Sheriff’s Office, according to a township announcement. The announcement added that the township’s trustees, fiscal officer and administrator will also attend to discuss levy components and the funding need. The first session will run on Oct. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Hope Ridge Church, 9870 Johnnycake Ridge Road. An Oct. 17 session will run from 6-8 p.m. at the St. Gabriel Community Room, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road. An Oct. 23 session will run from 6-8 p.m. at Concord Alliance Church, 7152 Ravenna Road. An Oct. 26 session will run from 12-2 p.m. at Concord Township Fire Station 1, 11599 Concord-Hambden Road.
