INDIANAPOLIS – A dog died and a woman was slightly hurt after a fire broke out early Tuesday morning at a near northwest side residence. According to the Indianapolis Fire Department, crews responded just after 1 a.m. to the 1000 block of W. 33rd Street. It took about 20 minutes for crews to get the fire under control. The cause remains under investigation.
