The Detroit Lions’ offense was absolutely on fire against the Seattle Seahawks, and there is no better way to encapsulate the day than just looking at Jared Goff’s statline for the entire contest. 18-of-18 for 292 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, and a 155.8 passer rating. Yes, Goff did not throw a single incom— ... wait. Hold on. I forgot something: Goff: 1 reception, 7 yards, TD Goff finished with a literal perfect night. No incompletions, three total touchdowns en route to a 42-29 victory over the Seahawks. Goff’s night wasn’t just perfect. It was perfect in a record-setting fashion. Per ESPN’s Field Yates, Goff set the single game record for most passing attempts without an incompletion with 18. In the prior three games, they had not given up more than 140 net passing yards or a passer rating above 83.7.
