PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) said it arrested a man in connection to a fatal shooting that happened earlier this month. PGPD said 18-year-old Dartrell Bryant of Hyattsville was charged with first and second-degree murder for fatally shooting 26-year-old Jawaun Jackson of Washington, D.C. Prince George’s County police identify fatal shooting victim; looking for suspect, motive Officials responded to the report of a man in the roadway in the 2900 block of 52nd Avenue on Sept. 19 at about 8:45 p.m. There, they found Jackson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators said Bryant and Jackson knew each other. He is being held without bond. Anyone with information is asked to call PGPD at 301-516-2512.
