ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two troopers were hospitalized during a pursuit involving a stolen car in Rochester Monday, according to New York State Police. The suspects in the stolen car have yet to be identified. The pursuit began around 6 p.m. in the area of Silver Street and Kensington Street in the city. Troopers said they were trying to stop the driver of a 2020 Hyundai Elantra that was reported stolen. According to State Police, three people were inside the car, two men and one woman. The pursuing troopers ended up crashing a patrol car amid the chase. Both troopers inside were taken to the hospital to be treated. They’re expected to survive their injuries. (WROC/Trinity Wilson.) The suspect car was later found on Superior Street in Rochester without anyone inside. Troopers are working to identify the suspects, releasing a video of who they say they believe to have been involved. You can watch below.
