ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque police arrested an 18-year-old in relation to a fatal crash earlier this month. On September 5, police responded to Trumbull Avenue just north of Phil Chacon Park. Two people were walking on the road when a vehicle hit one of them who later died from their injuries. Fire damages abandoned home in northeast Albuquerque Police records said three days later, Jorge Ceniceros called police, admitted to the crime, and gave them exact details of the crash. Police said Ceniceros later failed to show up at a meeting. He was arrested and booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center on Monday. He is facing homicide by vehicle, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident charges.
