(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A traffic shift will occur on Fillmore Street starting Tuesday, Oct. 1 to allow bridge work to continue. Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane from one mile east of Mark Dabling Boulevard to the I-25 interchange. Eastbound traffic will have two lanes open from the I-25 interchange to about one mile east of the Mark Dabling intersection. No left turns are allowed from eastbound Fillmore Street onto Mark Dabling Boulevard or from westbound Fillmore onto Steel Drive. Courtesy: City of Colorado Springs The shift will allow crews to maintain the bridges over the creek and railroad. This includes a bridge deck on both structures, waterproofing, and asphalt overlay. The work will be done at the end of 2024.
