(WGNO) — A Bogalusa man was arrested after a traffic stop led to a drug bust in the Abita Springs area on Monday, Sept. 23. New Orleans teacher accused of sex trafficking a 16-year-old is indicted The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reported that deputies pulled over a pickup truck near Hillcrest Boulevard and Louisiana Highway 435 for a traffic stop around 10:30 p.m. While conducting the stop, STPSO deputies allegedly found the driver, identified as 49-year-old Luke Jenkins, to be in possession of about 4.75 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, vials of suspected testosterone (anabolic steroid), prescription pills and "drug paraphernalia consistent with the use and packaging of narcotics."
