Royals play-by-play commentator Ryan Lefebvre said there was a "strong possibility" Pasquantino would be in the lineup during the postseason. Manager Matt Quatraro also said there was a chance Pasquantino could play in their first Wild Card game on Tuesday. He also participated in batting practice and bullpen sessions within the past week. Additionally, Pasquantino was quoted saying, "In my mind, my season's not over," just after the injury.
